The DoughMain Education Foundation held a meet and greet at its office, 189 Wall Street, in order to bring the tenants of Research Park together for a chance to network and get to one another. Organized by the foundation interns, the event allowed the organization to share and promote its mission while also learning about the work and goals of other local businesses and professionals.

The event was a great success; attendees shared food, contacts, and conversation, met new people, and connected with the office community. Although there are dozens of businesses and professionals located within the office park, most attendees realized they were unfamiliar with even their closest neighbors. The meet and greet provided us, as well as the other attendees, with the opportunity to remedy this lack of community.

At the event, we met a variety of businesspeople, from realtors to environmental consultants to pioneers in electronics. Between forty and fifty people, representing about fifteen different offices, attended the meet and greet.

The Meet and Greet helped kick off our campaign to raise awareness and integrate our organization into the greater Princeton community. Here at the DoughMain Education Foundation, we envision a more financially literate community. We hope to begin promoting financial literacy here at home, right in our own backyard.
